Comet C/2021 Panstarrs S3 with Weinberger 1-10

Astrobin Image of the Day 29.07.2024
Comet C/2021 S3 PANSTARRS, discovered by the Pan-STARRS project, is a long-period comet likely originating from the Oort Cloud. We collected data over 5 nights, from which one was used to get the LRGB images of PanSTARRS, which was crossing Cygnus at the time.
On the right you can see Weinberger 1-10 (PK086+05.1). The faint OIII-signal in the surrounding of Weinberger 1-10 is not very often photographed. Next to it you can slightly see vdB 134, a faint reflection nebula, that reflects the light from the star ω¹ Cygni.
